Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc shares his thoughts on the preparations for the 2021 Formula 1 season alongside teammate Carlos Sainz:
“We are in a difficult moment right now, obviously we are trying to recover. A lot of work and Carlos and I have been working very closely together. Carlos and I have interests that are similar. Like padel, golf. He is not into music yet. I think I will try to teach him piano. That’s quite optimistic. But yeah he is a very nice guy and we get on very well. We are getting on very very well. I have never spent so much time with a teammate before the start of a season. From the beginning of the year, basically every week I am here in Maranello, trying to prepare as well as possible for this season. It’s been quite an intense start of the season. Working hard with the engineers. Just trying to improve from last year.”
Charles on the SF21 Ferrari car: “It looks amazing. Hopefully it is fast but it looks good at least!”
