Charles Leclerc reacts as Ferrari win 24H of Le Mans: “You are the best. I love you!”. Charles Leclerc reacts to Ferrari winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the second time in a row.

Antonio Fuoco, Ferrari

Ferrari celebration, Charles Leclerc rejoices too
It’s a big celebration for Ferrari. One year later, Le Mans is red again: if 12 months ago it was the #51 that won the most famous 24-hour race in the world, this time it was the #50 that crossed the finish line first. An epic achievement for the trio Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen that did not go unnoticed by their Formula 1 colleagues.

Running low on fuel, Denmark’s Nicklas Nielsen crossed the finish line in the number 50 Ferrari 499P hypercar, which he shared with Italian Antonio Fuoco and Spaniard Miguel Molina, completing 311 laps of the Sarthe circuit.

Trailing by 14.221 seconds was the number seven Toyota GR010 hybrid, driven by Argentine Jose Maria Lopez, Japan’s Kamui Kobayashi, and Dutch driver Nyck de Vries. The Ferrari team that won last year — Italians Alessandro Pier Guidi, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Britain’s James Calado — secured third place in the 51 car.

The previous year’s victory marked the Italian brand’s first overall win at the French circuit in 58 years.

Immediately after the end of the race, Charles Leclerc posted two celebratory stories on Instagram to celebrate and congratulate the winners of the most important race on the WEC calendar.

The message dedicated to Antonio Fuoco
The Monegasque obviously applauded the entire team with an unequivocal “you are the best,” but then focused especially on his great friend Antonio Fuoco. The two have been close for many years and grew up together: “So happy for you. You deserve it all, you are great. Your dad will be so happy up there. I love you, great!”

Touching and special words for a pair of friends who in a few weeks have completed 2/3 of the Triple Crown together: after Charles Leclerc’s triumph in Monte Carlo, now Ferrari celebrates Antonio Fuoco’s repeat at Le Mans. A continuous celebration in a month that will be hard to forget in Maranello.
