Charles Leclerc continues to write his name into Ferrari history. By finishing second in the Singapore Grand Prix, the Monegasque reached 55 podiums for the Scuderia, drawing level with two major figures from the team’s past: Rubens Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel. Only Michael Schumacher remains ahead of them in Ferrari’s all-time podium ranking.
The achievement adds another important milestone to Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari career statistics, after a long spell with the Maranello team that has placed him among some of the most successful drivers in its Formula 1 history.
Ferrari podium ranking: Charles Leclerc joins Vettel and Barrichello
Michael Schumacher holds the outright Ferrari record with 116 podium finishes. Charles Leclerc has now reached 55, putting him level with Rubens Barrichello and Sebastian Vettel in the special ranking.
- Michael Schumacher: 116 podiums
- Charles Leclerc: 55 podiums
- Rubens Barrichello: 55 podiums
- Sebastian Vettel: 55 podiums
The gap to the top remains substantial. Michael Schumacher accumulated his 116 Ferrari podiums during an extraordinary spell with the Scuderia, a record that forms part of his wider Ferrari and Formula 1 career statistics.
Charles Leclerc still focused on winning the world championship with Ferrari
Despite reaching his 55th podium for Ferrari, Charles Leclerc made clear that individual milestones are not his main priority. His ultimate objective remains winning the Formula 1 World Championship with the Scuderia.
“Yes, it’s a nice milestone, but in the end what interests me are championships and for now I’m still at zero. We have to keep working, keep trying and never give up. I hope the title comes soon,” Charles Leclerc explained.
The Singapore result therefore carries significance beyond another second-place finish. It moves Charles Leclerc alongside Sebastian Vettel and Rubens Barrichello in Ferrari’s podium history, while his attention remains firmly on the achievement he values most: becoming a world champion in red.
