Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc comments and impressions ahead of the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix:
It’s a very different track here. We struggled and had quite a difficult weekend from the beginning. P11 and P12. I think it is the same starting position as in Turkey but we are in a very different situation so. We expect a difficult race. Last race was very different, they just resurfaced the track, the track was very slippery, somehow we managed to be better than the others in these conditions but here it is back to normal. Similar conditions that we expect normally. Unfortunately we are back to where we were a few races ago, but it‘s in the race where we score points. We have been working quite hard on that so hopefully we can see the benefits in the race today! It‘s always a tricky race here, very high temperatures so tyre management will be the key!” – Charles expained ahead of the race.
