Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc shares his thoughts on Sprint Races, Le Mans and representing Monaco on global stage:
Charles Leclerc on how it feels to represent Monaco on a global stage: “It means a lot! Especially because it is a small country and there are very few real Monégasque. To be a Monégasque and to represent them all over the world feels really amazing, so I am very proud!”
Charles Leclerc on Le Mans: “The only thing I said is that I love Le Mans, and why not doing it one day if I have the opportunity but now my main focus is F1. I want to bring Ferrari back where it belongs, which is the top and this is my main goal.”
Charles on Sprint Races: “I am actually looking forward to it. I like this idea. But I strongly believe that we shouldn’t devaluate the main race. The main race should remain the main race. There needs to be only one winner at the end of the weekend, the Grand Prix winner. But why not bring a bit more action on a Saturday with just a qualifying race. I think that is a better word. Just to see how it goes and how it works out. A shorter race but should be cool if we manage to try this.”
