After the Hungarian Grand Prix at the end of last month, the Formula 1 summer break officially began. Which is even a fundamental rule governed by article 21.8 of the FIA sporting regulations, – “All competitors must take part in a free period of fourteen consecutive days during the months of July and / or August” -, thta provides penalties for offending teams, who cannot carry out any activity, not even woring on the single-seaters.
In this window of time, the drivers can also enjoy trips or resting without any imposition from the teams. Among the strongest drivers of the current season there is Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who took a holiday in Gallura. Spotted in the waters of the region located in North-Eastern Sardinia, the Monegasque driver made himself available for selfies and videos, before a few training sessions in the gym at Porto Cervo.
In the photo the Ferrari driver is portrayed with Maurizio Utzeri, from Olbia who sells ice cream in a boat bar in the waters of the La Maddalena. He served ice creams to Charles Leclerc and requested and obtained a video dedication of the driver to his little son Mattias, aged six months – video below -.
“I will give my best, we hope to have many more victories”, said the Ferrari driver in the video.
