Charles Leclerc launches LEC ice cream campaign with playful poolside ad. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc launches LEC ice cream in a playful poolside campaign with friends and dog Léo.

Charles Leclerc, Ferrari Formula 1 driver, has taken his passion for dessert to the next level with the launch of his LEC ice cream brand in a vibrant international advertising campaign. The campaign, titled “Too Good to Be True?”, features the Monegasque driver enjoying his ice cream alongside friends and his beloved dog, Léo, in a playful and relaxed summer setting.

Following a remarkable first year that redefined the concept of light, indulgent ice cream, Charles Leclerc has expanded his brand with this new global campaign. The commercial highlights the fun and carefree spirit of LEC, presenting a fresh approach to enjoying ice cream without guilt. Leclerc is the central figure, demonstrating the joy of savoring the product, with his friends and Léo adding warmth and charm to the scenes.

Set on a bright summer day, the campaign invites viewers to indulge spontaneously, embracing pleasure without compromise. Each moment in the ad balances enjoyment with mindfulness, echoing LEC’s philosophy of combining irresistible flavors with lightness. The creative concept, “Too Good to Be True?”, emphasizes how LEC transforms what once seemed an impossible dream into a tangible, delightful reality. Resisting the indulgence of a favorite ice cream becomes unnecessary when it is as flavorful and light as LEC, offering more taste, more enjoyment, and more freedom to relish every moment.

The ad depicts Leclerc relaxing poolside with a spoonful of Vanillove, joined by friends on a padel court for a tasty break. Playful gags, unexpected twists, and appearances by Léo add humor and engagement, capturing the lighthearted spirit of the brand. The campaign will be shared as a video on YouTube and across Charles Leclerc’s and LEC’s official channels, encouraging fans to enjoy a carefree summer without regrets.

LEC currently offers five unique flavors: Vanillove, Salty Carammmel, Swirly Pistachi-oh!, Peanut Caramel Tango, and Chocolate Crunch. Each tub contains a maximum of 399 kcal, reducing calories by up to 41% and sugars by 50% compared to the most popular traditional ice creams. This is achieved through low-fat content (never exceeding 5.2%), the use of widely known sweeteners such as erythritol and stevia, and a combination of fibers like polydextrose and inulin sourced from corn and chicory.

Federico Grom, one of the four founders of LEC, explained that the campaign represents a major step forward in conveying the brand’s message. The visual storytelling captures the essence of LEC through images, movement, and positive emotions. The aim is to make the seemingly impossible possible, turning LEC into an experience that entertains, inspires, and delights. With its philosophy focused on taste and enjoyment, LEC continues to revolutionize the ice cream market, offering products that are as light as they are indulgent.

LEC ice cream allows fans and consumers to enjoy a luxurious treat with fewer calories and guilt-free pleasure. The brand’s commitment to innovation and flavor ensures that every tub is a delightful experience, making it the ice cream that everyone dreams of—and deserves. So, why resist the joy of LEC?
