Charles Leclerc is “curious to see how our car will behave” at Portimao circuit. Charles can't wait to get on the track with the SF21 .

Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc can’t wait to get on the track with the SF21 among the ups and downs of the Portimão circuit, one of the favorite tracks of the Maranello team’s driver. Charles was able to score an excellent fourth place finish in the last round of the 2021 Formula 1 season, at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and now is ready for the Portuguese round in order to evaluate the performance of the SF21 car on a track with some different characteristics than those of Bahrain and Imola.

“As you know I love city tracks, where the walls are close and a driver immediately pays for his mistakes” – Charles Leclerc said ahead of the 2021 Portuguese Grand Prix – “but among the permanent tracks this is certainly one of my favorites. Last year we did well both in qualifying and in the race, and I’m curious to see how our car will perform on the ups and downs of this track.” – Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc concluded.
