Ferrari has unveiled an all-black look for Charles Leclerc ahead of the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix, with the Monegasque driver appearing in both a black race suit and a matching limited-edition cap. The striking design represents a major departure from the traditional Ferrari red and gives Charles Leclerc a distinctive appearance for the Formula 1 weekend under the lights at Marina Bay.
The reveal came through Ferrari’s official promotional material, with Charles Leclerc pictured wearing a predominantly black race suit featuring the usual Ferrari and partner branding. The accompanying cap follows the same theme, creating a coordinated all-black presentation ahead of one of the most visually distinctive events on the Formula 1 calendar.
Charles Leclerc gets black Ferrari suit and cap for Singapore
The most immediately noticeable change is the race suit itself. Instead of the familiar Ferrari red, Charles Leclerc is shown in black overalls with contrasting light-coloured detailing around the shoulders and sides, while the Ferrari shield and the usual sponsor logos remain prominently displayed.
The black cap completes the special Singapore look. It is almost entirely dark, with Charles Leclerc’s race number and the Prancing Horse emblem presented in silver, giving the design a more understated appearance than Ferrari’s conventional red merchandise.
Several promotional images released around the special edition show the Ferrari driver wearing the complete black combination, including the suit, cap and black racing boots. Together, the elements create a coordinated visual identity for Charles Leclerc ahead of the Marina Bay weekend.
Ferrari’s Singapore look immediately stands apart
Singapore provides an appropriate setting for the darker design. The Grand Prix takes place at night around the Marina Bay street circuit, where artificial lighting gives teams and drivers a very different visual backdrop compared with most daytime Formula 1 events.
Ferrari’s choice to place Charles Leclerc in black therefore produces a particularly striking contrast with the team’s traditional colours. The design retains unmistakable Ferrari branding, but the black base changes the overall appearance considerably and gives the Monegasque driver’s Singapore equipment a unique identity.
The special presentation comes as Formula 1 moves on from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix to Singapore. The complete sequence of events can be followed through the 2026 Formula 1 calendar.
Special Charles Leclerc cap will also go on sale
Ferrari has also prepared the black cap as a limited-edition item for supporters. Sales are scheduled to begin on Monday, October 5, at the start of the week leading into the Singapore Grand Prix.
The design keeps decoration relatively restrained. Black dominates the cap, while the silver race number and Ferrari emblem provide the main contrasting details. That same dark theme is carried across Charles Leclerc’s race suit and footwear in the promotional material.
Could the black theme extend to the Ferrari SF-26?
The reveal has inevitably prompted discussion among fans over whether Ferrari could take the theme further and introduce a special black treatment for the SF-26 at Marina Bay. At this stage, however, a different car livery has not been confirmed and remains speculation.
What is already clear is that Charles Leclerc’s Singapore appearance will look very different from Ferrari’s usual presentation. The black race suit, matching cap and dark footwear form a complete special-edition look for the number 16 driver, while the possibility of any corresponding change to the SF-26 remains unanswered.
For Ferrari supporters, the Singapore weekend therefore already has a distinctive visual theme before track action begins. Charles Leclerc will arrive at Marina Bay with an all-black special-edition appearance that stands apart from the traditional red associated with the Scuderia.
