There is not only Max Verstappen who manages to attract the attention of Formula 1 fans: the Dutch driver was the first to fill the stands dedicated to him during the GPs with the orange fans, but he will no longer be the only one.
Charles Leclerc, in fact, on the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix scheduled for May 23, where he will race at home, will have his own grandstand for fans. The Scuderia Ferrari driver from the Principality accepted the invitation of race organizers who made the K stand available for him to gather his supporters.
This is the structure with a thousand seats near Turn 12 (Tabac – a small tobacco shop on the outside of this left-hand bend gave this corner its name) which guarantees excellent visibility from the exit of the Porto variant to the first chicane of the swimming pool. There will be only 500 tickets available to ensure the indispensable anti-Covid social distancing.
Charles offers special treatment to fans who want to follow him on Saturday (for free practice and qualifying) and Sunday for the race. At the price of 800 euros, the Ferrari driver will guarantee a numbered seat in the stands for the two days and a series of gadgets: cap and signed T-shirt as well as a Ferrari bag and the official GP program.
But the most exclusive aspect will be the fact that his fans will be able to get in touch with Charles thanks to the link that each ticket holder will receive on his mobile phone for a live broadcast on Zoom.
The Ferrari driver will make himself available to the fans for a few minutes for each of the two days and during which time he will connect from the Ferrari hospitality or from the garage where he will show his SF21 up close.
