Charles Leclerc congratulated Lando Norris on winning the Formula 1 World Championship and expressed his hope that 2026 will finally be a successful season for Ferrari. After watching Max Verstappen dominate recent years and now seeing Norris take his first crown, Charles Leclerc continues his pursuit of a long-awaited title with the Scuderia. The Monegasque driver once again shared his determination during the post-race team radio at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where the McLaren driver sealed his first world championship.

During the cool-down lap on his way back to the pit lane, Charles Leclerc opened his radio channel to speak with his race engineer, Bryan Bozzi. He thanked the Ferrari crew for their relentless effort throughout the year and offered his congratulations to Lando Norris for the title win.
BB: “Charge button is on. Do some pick up please.”
CL: “Good race, well done. Great job, guys. And thank you for all the hard work this year. It hasn’t been an easy season, and I hope the next one will be ours. Thanks again for everything.”
BB: “Thank you, Charles. You drove very well as always. Pick up some rubber, please. Then we’ll try again next year.”
CL: “He’s world champion, right?”
BB: “Yes, confirmed. Lando is world champion.”
CL: “Yes. Huge congratulations to Lando and also to McLaren.”
BB: “Let’s head to the pit lane. P0 when you stop.”
