Charles Leclerc invests again
Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has several interests beyond Formula 1, and one of his known passions is for watches. The Monegasque, already an ambassador for Richard Mille, has become a shareholder of Chrono24, a platform for buying and selling luxury watches.
The Ferrari driver has joined another successful athlete: Cristiano Ronaldo, who became a shareholder last year. Charles Leclerc will be accompanied in this venture by his brother Lorenzo, with whom he founded All Time, a company that helps athletes with their extracurricular activities. Charles Leclerc is well-acquainted with the world of wristwatches, serving as an ambassador for Richard Mille through his association with the Mar.
Charles Leclerc’s comments
“The world of watches has fascinated me for a long time as one of my many passions. There is a true union among watch enthusiasts around the world, and my brother and I are excited to become even more deeply part of this community,” commented Charles Leclerc.
Carsten Keller’s comments
“We are extremely proud to welcome Charles and Lorenzo to our adventure,” added Chrono24 CEO Carsten Keller. “These brothers are highly esteemed and share our passion for watches and our company’s drive for excellence. Their experience is formidable, and together we are ready to reach new heights.”
According to data from Chrono24, where users can input and track the value of their watch collections, the platform’s users own more than 3.7 million watches with a combined value of $50 billion, representing around 8% of the total value of all watches on Earth. This makes Chrono24 one of the largest watch-selling platforms in the world. With growing interest from celebrity investors, this trend is likely to continue.
