Charles Leclerc finished in third place in qualifying for the Miami Grand Prix, but is the Monegasque driver satisfied with the result? “I received no indication on…” he said, while also looking ahead to the race weather, which could significantly change strategies and plans.
The Ferrari driver once again showed that the Scuderia from Maranello is consistently able to join the fight at the front, even if it is still not quite able to lead it. Leclerc secured third place in qualifying for the Miami GP, and his comments reflected both encouragement and caution as he prepared for a race that, at the moment, looks highly unpredictable due to uncertain weather conditions.
Leclerc: “The car reacted in a rather strange way”
“We were really at the limit, but still not fast enough. The important upgrade package has definitely helped us, even though there is still something to improve. We changed a few small details and then the car reacted in a rather strange way, with very noticeable differences from one lap to another.”
“From the team, for the moment, I have not received any indication about possible damage to the floor after that impact on the kerb. For tomorrow, however, the forecast seems to suggest rain, so it is possible that we will be racing in wet conditions. We still need to understand to what extent, but in any case it will be a situation that we will have to interpret carefully.”
In summary, Charles Leclerc’s P3 qualifying result in Miami highlights both the progress made by Ferrari’s new updates and the lingering inconsistencies of the SF-26, setting the stage for a strategically complex race should the predicted rain arrive.
