Ahead of the afternoon session at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc met with the press. Here are some highlights from Charles Leclerc’s media session:
– He says Ferrari weren’t going flat-out this morning and can go faster
– Not sure if Mercedes and Red Bull are flat-out but admits, if he were a betting man, he’d go for Ferrari
– Ferrari will start race simulations this afternoon which should give them better idea of pecking order
Charles Leclerc quotes:
“A positive day. Yesterday we lost a lot of time. It is nice to be up front but it does not mean much in this context. Surely there is room for improvement, no team is pushing at 100%. Difficult to say where Mercedes is, but we are happy with the work we are doing
“Working with Sebastian can be definitely important. We want to work together to improve the car and I definitely would like to beat him. Seb and I have different driving styles, but the feedback we gave to the team is the same.”

“I have no particular objectives for Melbourne. I want to prepare myself to give the maximum. There is a very positive energy within the team.”
