“A lot of work has been done after Canada. Obviously, we had an issue with the power unit on Sunday that cost us a good result because the pace was there in the corners, while on the straight I was losing between one and one and a half seconds, which was too much to allow us to do anything good. On Saturday, we didn’t get the tires in the right window and, looking back, I think there were things that could have been done better, which we didn’t manage well at the time of qualifying.” – the Monegasque driver explained on Thursday at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.

“We have clarified things with the team and I am confident that the engine problems will not reoccur here. We understood what the problem was and we have solved it, although I can’t go into details.
