Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc comments and impressions from the press conference ahead of the 2020 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring:
“It was clear that we were not where we wanted to be after testing. I think it’s going to be a very challenging season for us, it’s definitely not going to be easy. We still have this question mark and we still need to wait for qualifying to be absolutely sure of what we say, even though we are 99% sure that we’ll be struggling more than last year. That is where we are at the moment. We have tried a different route for Budapest, but there was not enough time to bring it [the upgrade] here.” – Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc said, ahead of the season debut.
Charles on what he will miss about Sebastian Vettel next year : “His speed! His experience. I have learned a massive about with Seb as a teammate and I will continue that until the end of the season. Him as a driver and of course as a person I enjoyed it. Of course we had our on track battle, sometimes it didn’t end the way we wanted but there was always respect off track.”
