Scuderia Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz was voted ‘Driver of the Day’ by the Formula 1 fans after a superb recovery drive in the 2022 French Grand Prix at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet.
The Spaniard was forced to start from the back of the grid due to new power unit components which led to several grid penalties, but after a series of great overtakes was able to finish in fifth place, while also setting the fastest lap of the 2022 French Grand Prix:
