Yesterday, following his return from the Emilia Romagna Gran Prix at the Imola circuit where he finished in fifth place, Scuderia Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello.
The Spanish driver frequently uses his visits to Maranello to deepen his understanding of the manufacturing processes for both Formula One cars and road vehicles. The collaboration between Scuderia Ferrari and the sports car divisions significantly contributes to Ferrari’s success by fostering teamwork throughout the company.
“We are one team. You are doing an outstanding job every day, with the same motivation we have on the track,” Sainz expressed during his meeting with colleagues, where he thanked them for their warm reception and the chance to gain deeper insights into the company’s operations. Sainz, who signed an engine of the Ferrari 296 GTB, showed keen interest in the Engine Assembly, Assembly Lines, Testing, and Finishing Line, and took the opportunity to admire the new Ferrari 12Cilindri, a two-seater berlinetta.
