On the Ferrari front the results were good, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc setting the time with medium tires, unlike Gasly’s soft, with which we compared the Spaniard’s lap to try to have some references. The advantages of traction and grip of the soft compound of the Frenchman are evident, but compared to what has been seen at other times, the Ferrari engine seemed to be particularly conservative, probably again due to the temperatures.
The possibility of fighting to emerge behind the first two continues to be concrete, but finally, in the short term, many doubts can be swept away with the first qualifying of the year.
