Carlos Sainz and Scuderia Ferrari are wasting no time in view of the Spanish driver’s debut in red for the 2021 Formula 1 season.
The former McLaren did not get the go-ahead from the FIA to participate in the testing session which took place in Abu Dhabi last Tuesday – occasion in which Antonio Fuoco and Robert Shwartzman took to the track at the wheel of the Ferrari SF1000 car – but according to a recent report from the editorial staff of formulapassion.it, Carlos Sainz was in Maranello where the measurements for the Spaniard for the 2021 seat were taken.
The 26-year-old Spanish racing driver picks up Sebastian Vettel’s legacy and has signed a two-year contract that will see him alongside Charles Leclerc within the Maranello team at least until the end of the 2022 Formula 1 season.
