Carlos Sainz feels “100% ready” to take the next step with Ferrari. Carlos ready to begin his new adventure alongside Ferrari.

Carlos Sainz is ready to begin his new adventure alongside Scuderia Ferrari. In reality, the first contact with the Italian side took place a few weeks ago, when he visited the headquarters in Maranello, discussing with the technical staff. The Spaniard, however, can’t wait to be able to drive the Red car, as in the next few weeks he should get on track at Fiorano with the SF71-H. In order to test the SF-21 he will have to wait for the pre-season tests, but in the meanwhile he is clearly happy with great opportunity that was offered to him.

“First of all, you are driving for Ferrari. I don’t think there is much more to say” – said Carlos, quoted by GPFans – “Becoming a Ferrari driver is in the mind and dreams of every driver. Regardless of the situation, it is very, very difficult to say no. As an Italian team I have always felt comfortable with Toro Rosso and I have always thought that Ferrari could be a good place for me. I know Italian, I know some people there, and I felt I could have fun immediately.” – he explained.

Continuing to talk about the choice he made, Carlos Sainz added: “Driving for the most successful team in the history of this sport is always the dream of every Formula 1 driver. I feel ready for whatever happens. I’ve always said that my ultimate goal in Formula 1 is to try one day to become world champion and I’m ready to take the next step in Ferrari and see how it goes. I feel 100% ready” – Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz concluded.
