During the winter, the main motorsport categories put their action and activities on hold, but those who are the main protagonists, i.e. the drivers, continue to work hard to be as prepared as possible for the following season, always with a high level of demands from a physical point of view.
While it is true that within the world of motorsports there are very different variants and series, such as the two main categories of car and motorcycle racing, Formula 1 and MotoGP, the way in which drivers prepare physically is very similar.
For this reason, it is not uncommon to occasionally see some drivers from different series training together, as was the case on this occasion with Scuderia Ferrari Spanish Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz and Marc Márquez, Honda’s top rider in MotoGP.
Through social networks, the Ferrari man shared some images in which he can be seen training with the rider from Cervera, who hopes to get to the 2023 season 100% from a physical point of view, especially after all the physical problems he had to face in the recent seasons, with several operations.
In the case of Marc Márquez, the pre-season of the premier class of motorcycling will kick off between 5 and 7 February with a shakedown in Sepang, while the official tests will be held from 10 to 12 February on the Malaysian circuit and on 11 and on 12 March in Portimao, two weeks before the first race of the season, which will take place on the weekend of 25 and 26 March, also in Portugal.

As for Carlos Sainz, his first appearance on the track will also take place in the winter tests, but a little later, given that in Formula 1 the testing session will take place in just three days, from Thursday 23 to Saturday 25 February at the Sakhir International Circuit, the same circuit that will officially open the 2023 Formula One season, just a week later, from 3 to 5 March with the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix.
