Vanzini criticizes Ferrari: “They built a car that’s awful”
Regarding Ferrari, Carlo Vanzini stressed the importance of cohesion and transparency, calling for a collective reaction rather than individual fixes: “For Ferrari, it’s necessary that the team stands together. It’s not for us to say what they should do, but they must be honest with themselves and with the fans.”
His strongest critique was directed at the technical DNA of the current car: “They need to admit to themselves that they built a car that’s awful. This Ferrari is probably the worst we’ve seen in many seasons. Clearly, there was a fundamental error in the car’s design, though the exact reason is unclear.”
The journalist expanded on the point, calling for a methodological review rather than just incremental fixes: “If they don’t carry out a frank and thorough analysis, I fear the future could be very bleak.” In a weekend like Singapore, where overtaking is difficult and qualifying is crucial, the lack of a distinctive “strength” makes it hard to capitalize even on race incidents, emphasizing the structural limits of the SF-25 and its current development cycle.
