While in the Formula 1 World Championship the Ferrari SF-25 has secured only one podium (with Charles Leclerc finishing third in Saudi Arabia) over six Grands Prix, in the WEC the Ferrari 499P has won both of the championship’s first two rounds, triumphing in both Qatar and Imola. These performances were commented on by Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna during the call presenting Ferrari’s Q1 2025 financial results.
Benedetto Vigna’s comments
“Let me congratulate the entire team for the historic 1-2-3 finish in Qatar in the opening round of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship and for the subsequent win at the 6 Hours of Imola, more than half a century after our last victory in Italy. We couldn’t have started the racing season in a better way. I was in Imola and I can assure you that sharing those unique emotions with so many Ferrari enthusiasts was an unforgettable experience.” – the Ferrari chief executive officer pointed out.
“In Formula 1, the team is more focused than ever on fighting for victories and podiums. The start hasn’t been easy—we all know that. On the other hand, we are all driven by deeply rooted grit and a relentless determination to keep progressing.” – Benedetto Vigna concluded, as the Ferrari CEO spoke during the presentation of the 2025 first-quarter results, just a few days after the Miami Grand Prix.
