‘Being a Ferrari driver the best job in the world!’ – Charles Leclerc. Charles' interview for 'Ziggo Sport.

In an interview for sports television channel in the Netherlands ‘Ziggo Sport’ during the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix weekend at the Zandvoort circuit, Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc was asked about the feeling of driving for the Maranello team in Formula 1, as Charles is already in his third season with the Italian side and has a long-term contract.

Is being a Ferrari driver the best job in the world?
Charles Leclerc: “Definitely. But by being a Ferrari driver, we get a lot more interview requests, which is the only downside” (laughs). But it is a dream come true. I am speaking of myself but I am pretty sure it is exactly the same for Carlos. We dreamt to be a Formula 1 driver since being a child and I always dreamed of being with Ferrari. I don‘t call that a job, it is just realising my dream.”
