Ferrari is bringing a strong contingent to Abu Dhabi, where even Maranello’s “rookies” will have a chance to hit the track. On one hand, there will be three days of post-season testing during which Carlos Sainz will be unavailable due to his new adventure with Williams. On the other, a rookie will need to take over car number 55 for a Free Practice session, as required by the regulations (Charles Leclerc has already handed over his car to Ollie Bearman in Mexico).
A few days ago, *Motorsport Italia* reported that Antonio Fuoco would take part in FP1, but today *Corriere della Sera* offered a new insight: the Calabrian driver will participate in the final tests, while Arthur Leclerc will share the track with his brother on Friday.
Both Arthur Leclerc and Antonio Fuoco are part of Ferrari’s development program and compete in other categories under the Prancing Horse banner. Leclerc has been racing in the GT championship alongside Giancarlo Fisichella, with whom he even clinched the title in 2024. Meanwhile, Antonio Fuoco drives the number 50 499P in the WEC and, alongside Nielsen and Molina, won the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year.
In addition to these official events, both drivers are frequently involved in testing sessions for Scuderia Ferrari at Fiorano, using cars from previous seasons. No confirmations have been made yet, but they are expected in the coming days.
