British Formula One pit-lane reporter who works for Sky Sports F1, Ted Kravitz, runs the rule over what’s quite the array of new development parts for teams through the field at the Marina Bay street circuit based on images from Friday practice and from the official documents published by the FIA, which you can find at the end of the article:
Ferrari with reprofiled front wing flap
“Not specific to Singapore and part of the standard development cycle, the aim of this front wing flap update is to improve the car efficiency over an extended aero balance range”
McLaren
“They have the most new bits in Singapore this weekend – nine of them. There is a new front wing, new front-wing endplate, new sidepod inlets, a totally new floor, a new engine cover, and a new rear wing. Oscar Piastri has some of these nine upgrades, while Lando Norris has all of them. While some of these bits have added weight to the car, they have saved the weight by taking the paint off – so it’s a more carbon-fibre liveried McLaren this weekend.”
Red Bull
“They have a new floor edge and rear-wing endplate, which they say has taken inspiration from competitors’ designs. So they’ve copied it from other competitors. It looks a bit like the Aston Martin.”
Alpine
“Their car looks very different. They’ve got a new sidepod entry and a big undercut that looks very aggressive.”
Alfa Romeo
“Valtteri Bottas has called this the upgrade the team has been waiting for all season. There’s a new floor, new diffuser, and new brake ducts.”
