After the pre-season testing session at the 5.412-kilometre Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, the Prancing Horse wants to gather the support of its fans before the start of the new season. To do so, Ferrari has chosen Milan as the ideal location for an event set to take place next week in Piazza Castello, featuring the team’s two drivers.
A brick-built SF-24 arrives
But that’s not all. While the final day of testing was underway in Sakhir, a LEGO SF-24 was unveiled in the Lombard city. At the LEGO store in Piazza San Babila, fans can find a full-scale 1:1 replica of the single-seater that came close to winning the constructors’ title last year. Every minute detail can be appreciated in person, from the front wing to the halo—nothing has been overlooked.
This is a promotional stunt to advertise the release of the new LEGO Technic set, a 1:8 scale model of the SF-24 that fans can assemble. The box contains over 1,300 pieces, allowing enthusiasts around the world to enjoy building while waiting for the new season.
It’s not just Ferrari. Smaller models of all ten teams are also available in stores and on the LEGO website, making for a true collector’s set for the most passionate fans.
