After almost a month-long break, Formula 1 returns for a season finale that promises excitement. The 2024 World Championship resumes in Austin, home of the United States GP, for an intense weekend from October 18 to 20. With six Grands Prix remaining, the battle for the Constructors’ title between McLaren and Red Bull heats up, while the fight between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris for the Drivers’ Championship could reignite at this round at the Circuit of the Americas, which also offers the eight points of the Sprint Race on Saturday, the fourth of the season.
And what about Ferrari? The United States GP could be a real test for the car driven by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, on a track that, on paper, is less suited to the characteristics of the SF-24. Given the long break, important technical updates are expected from many teams, so it will be interesting to see how the balance of power has shifted during this round in Texas, in anticipation of the season’s final sprint. The Prancing Horse will attempt to close the gap in the Constructors’ standings, trailing McLaren by 75 points and Red Bull by 34.
