This time Lando Norris doesn’t give any gifts. The Brit takes off his Santa Claus costume and banishes the uncomfortable ghosts that have haunted him until tonight, converting the Singapore pole position into a clear and decisive victory.
There’s no competition at Marina Bay, where the McLaren driver gets off to a good start and leaves the field behind as soon as the pit wall asks him to widen the gap on Max Verstappen. In a very short time, Norris builds a safety margin, setting one fast lap after another, even going too fast: he almost crashes into the wall at least twice but secures the third victory of his career.
