How much money will the drivers on 2023 Formula One grid earn? It would not be difficult to think that the top drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen or Charles Leclerc are the ones with the biggest earners in Formula 1. However, determining the exact salaries of the entire Formula One grid is not an easy task to complete, as explained by RacingNews365.
Not surprisingly, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen is at the top of the earnings list for the next season, as the Dutchman’s new deal with the Austrian side gives him an impressive $55 million in 2023 – and that total does not include performance bonuses such as race wins and F1 titles. Behind Max Verstappen there is an important difference as compared to the last championship: Mercedes man Lewis Hamilton has a current salary of $35 million per year, which is no longer enough for second place, given that Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque diver Charles Leclerc’s salary has increased to $36 million based on his current contract, which is available until the end of the 2024, as Ferrari will be hoping to extend the deal as soon as possible.
At the other end of this special ranking we find Yuki Tsunoda and Logan Sargeant: both of them are set to receive a comparatively paltry $1 million for the 2023 Formula 1 campaign.
As explained by RacingNews365, all figures listed in the table are estimates based on consultation with various sources within the Formula 1 paddock and across teams.
