All of the action ahead of the first Sprint of the 2023 Season! The Baku City Circuit made its first appearance on the FORMULA 1 calendar back in 2016, under the official name of the European Grand Prix. One year later, this changed into the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. As most other circuits on the Formula 1 calendar, the Baku City Circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke. The design combines technical sectors in the Old Town with long straights along the coastline. The total length of the circuit is 6,003 meters and the track has 20 corners in total.
