2022 Bahrain full test mileage stats: Ferrari marginally edge out Mercedes

The business of predicting outcomes based on testing results fraught with peril. But while Red Bull ended Bahrain’s pre-season test on top, it appears to have different company at the front of the new ‘favourites’ group, with Ferrari enjoying a strong start to its 2022 campaign, as can be seen from the most important stats at the end of the Bahrain pre-season testing session.

Over the course of the two tests, Carlos Sainz (1,399 miles/2,251 kms) completed the most miles of running, while iIn terms of teams, Ferrari marginally edged out Mercedes, the Italian team completing 2,650 miles of testing (4,264 kms).
