Get set for the most glamorous race of the Formula 1 season. This is the 66th running of the Monaco Grand Prix as a world championship event. It appeared on the inaugural world championship calendar in 1950 and has been a permanent fixture for the sport since 1955.
Precise driving. Technical excellence. Sheer bravery. Those are the key ingredients required by the drivers in order to succeed at the iconic Circuit de Monaco. There is no margin for error at this Armco barrier-lined track, and it requires more concentration than any other F1 venue on the calendar. Cars run with maximum downforce, while the sharp corners mean the brakes are worked extremely hard, too.
