Formula 1 returns this weekend with a classic as Scuderia Ferrari heads to Spa-Francorchamps. Batteries well and truly recharged after the summer break and annual August shutdown, the teams and drivers return to action this weekend for the Belgian Grand Prix, staged at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which is one of only four circuits on this year’s calendar that featured in the inaugural world championship of 1950. The others are Silverstone, Monaco and Monza.
Only the truly great drivers conquer Spa, with Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher among those to master this magical circuit. Add in the wonderful setting in the Ardennes forest and it’s no surprise that it’s a fan favourite.
Join us in a few moments for the latest updates and results from the Belgian GP, as the first practice session is about to get underway, with Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc at the wheel of the SF90, ready to evaluate the ideal set-up ahead of the qualifying session and the race on Sunday.
