With Shanghai now in the rearview mirror, the world of F1 is looking forward to the 2019 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place at the Baku City Circuit. Although the F1 Chinese Grand Prix lacked the tangible drama of the Bahrain event two weeks prior, there were certainly some big talking points.
Mercedes also became the first team since McLaren in 1992 to register three 1-2 finishes from the first three Grand Prix races of a season. While some had expected the German constructor to be playing catchup with the Maranello team at this stage in the 2019 Formula One season, Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas have, in fact, dominated. Scuderia Ferrari still has faith in the machine and will looking to unlock the potential of the SF90 car as soon as possible.
