2018 Abu Dhabi third practice session: Kimi Raikkonen under investigation. 2018 Abu Dhabi third practice session: Kimi Raikkonen under investigation.

Kimi Raikkonen will be investigated after FP3 for his pit lane antics while Daniel Ricciardo had yet another breakdown and Charles Leclerc lost his rear wing.

Scuderia Ferrari Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen had a scruffy session that resulted in an investigation into his antics as he ran wide and began to go down pit lane before rejoining the track.

The session ended with a P1 for Lewis Hamilton, the Brit putting in a 1:37.176 to beat Kimi Raikkonen by 0.288s.

Ferrari had control of FP3 for most of the session as Raikkonen and then Vettel hit the top of the pile early on.

Vettel’s initial benchmark of 1m38.668s stood until the final 20 minutes of the session, when he lowered it significantly to 1m37.587s.

Hamilton then blitzed that with a 1m37.176s, before Raikkonen also edged ahead of Vettel by clocking a 1m37.464s.
