It should be a much better weekend for Ferrari as Hungary could prove the ideal opportunity to reduce the distance between Mercedes and the Maranello team in the Formula 1 Constructor Standings, given the fact that the track near Budapest should suit the SF70H car, after a series of races that did not favor the Italian side. This can only increase the importance of the work on Friday, as Scuderia Ferrari will try to identify the ideal setup and to understand the performance of the Pirelli tyres in different circumstances and fuel loads.
The weather conditions always play a key role in Hungary, as rain is many time unpredictable and could once again influence the outcome of the programme which the Formula One teams have scheduled for the first two practice sessions.
Follow us in the afternoon for the latest updates and results from the Hungaroring track as the second practice session ahead of the 2017 Hungarian Grand Prix is about to get underway in Mogyorod, with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen at the wheel of the SF70H.
