Scuderia Ferrari German driver Michael Schumacher and Jaguar’s Mark Webber collide in the pitlane in Friday practice for the 2003 French Grand Prix.
A rare mistake for Ferrari in those days: Mark Webber was cruising down the lane when Scuderia Ferrari’s signal man gave Michael Schumacher the all-clear to go.
The German pulled out and Webber was unable to brake in time to avoid him.
After hearing from the team manager and reviewing video evidence, race stewards ruled Ferrari had released Michael Schumacher before it was safe to do so:
