Just over fifty days before the start of the 2024 Formula One season, Haas witnessed an internal earthquake. Simone Resta, technical director, and Gunther Steiner, ousted from the role of team principal, left the American team.
Gene Haas justified the internal changes in his team as a result of a “drop in performance.” However, it might not be everything.

If so, it would be terrible news for the Prancing Horse. With Audi entering F1, Ferrari will lose the supply of engines to Sauber at the end of the 2025 season. A potential separation from Haas would, therefore, result in the substantial elimination of the customer base. Relationships with customer teams are crucial. Primarily from an economic perspective but also in terms of feedback. Renault, in this regard, is experiencing the absence of a partner to provide its engines, and it is not surprising that Mercedes has sought to secure long-term partnerships with Williams and McLaren.
Haas for sale:
