Such is the sound of a 1992 Ferrari V12-engined Formula 1 car that it doesn’t even have to run on track to impress the fans and the crowd of onlookers. There is simply nothing that can hold a match to the noise these engines make, and this is just one example. Can you imagine what a field of 26 of these would have sounded like as they roared away from the start line?
The Dallara F192 was a Formula 1 single-seater designed by Gian Paolo Dallara, of Dallara, and used by the BMS Scuderia Italia team during the 1992 Formula 1 championship season. The challenger was powered by the Ferrari V12 engine and used Goodyear tyres. JJ Lehto and Pierluigi Martini got behind the wheel of the car and took two points in the hands of the Italian driver, but its crowning was represented by the impressive Ferrari V12, which unfortunately was not that much better in the back of the Ferrari car either. But let’s not focus mainly on performance and just direct our attention to what really matters… that amazing sound.
