Between father and son, there is a very special bond. Carlos Sainz has always spoken about how his dad played two roles in his life: that of a parent and a great motivator.

“He’s a force of nature, never stops,” his son had declared in an interview published on the Ferrari website at the beginning of 2022. “He constantly pushes you to surpass your limits.”

“My connection with him has always been very intense. My father doesn’t know how to stand still. For me, as a child, he always meant pushing me to do more. When I first started karting, he supported and motivated me. He accepted the fact that I wouldn’t follow in his footsteps in rallying.”
