Scuderia Ferrari has a carefully planned schedule for its activities, leaving nothing to chance. The Italian side has scheduled two days of testing at its home racing circuit in Fiorano for tomorrow and Friday in order to be able to bring to the track the SF-24 with the new aerodynamic package that will debut in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at the Imola circuit, but not only that.
Some had hinted that the home track had been kept free for two days due to possible weather uncertainties. Thursday is expected to be overcast, while Friday is expected to be sunny, so the weather will not affect the work of the Maranello team.
And looking for more detailed information, data emerges that testify to the rigorous organization of the Racing Department under the direction of Fred Vasseur. The idea over the two days would be to complete three different activities using the second 200 km filming day:
First, to finally evaluate on the track the real potential of the first of the three update packages planned for the 2024 Formula 1 season, which will change the development direction of the SF-24;

The Scuderia seeks to express its maximum potential by evaluating on the track with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz the full correspondence of data between the wind tunnel and the simulator with the track to confirm good correlation in the development work carried out by the staff led by Italian aerodynamicist Enrico Cardile.
The red car at Imola will introduce several updates all at once, so it will not be easy to understand what actually works best, and the opportunity to drive at Fiorano is certainly a great opportunity to carry out important preliminary work that could be fundamental in defining the setup to be decided for the Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
