Mexico 2019 vs 2021, comparative analysis: Ferrari loses 6 tenths per sector. Ferrari loses 6 tenths per sector.

Formula 1 has returned to Mexico after two years of absence, during which many factors have changed. Scuderia Ferrari is no longer at the top in the fight for pole position, with Red Bull taking its place. Although Mexico has always been a favorable venue for the Austrian bulls. What hasn’t changed, however, is the fact that it wasn’t Max Verstappen who finished in pole position in both years. In 2019 due to a mistake made by him and yesterday for a misunderstanding with Sergio PĂ©rez and Yuki Tsunoda who preceded him.

In a standing regarding the time improvement / time lost as compared to 2019, Scuderia Ferrari is in the last place: in two years, the Maranello team collapsed from the pole position of Charles Leclerc to the sad sixth place of Carlos Sainz. The Red team has not improved at all and the phantom steps forward expected have been swallowed up by the screams of the fans in the stands. The SF21, compared to the SF90, lost 6 and 5 tenths in the first and third sector, making it the worst in this regard. Bad also in the central one after the gap is six and a half tenths.
