Since 1968, Hot Wheels has produced 1:64 scale cars and trucks, collaborating over the years with many historic automotive brands, including Ferrari. The two brands had previously partnered until 2014. Earlier this year, the model car manufacturer hinted that Ferrari would be included in the new F1 model collection, with the announcement tagline: “Two iconic brands. Reunited.” Now, after more than a decade, Ferrari and Hot Wheels are back together with a complete range of collectible cars and merchandise.

The first cars released in the renewed collaboration were the modified Ferrari 499P and the Ferrari 312 P, combining the latest Hypercar creation from the Scuderia with a historic model that holds special significance. While the current F1 grid had already been represented in miniature form, Ferrari and Aston Martin had been missing—until now. Hot Wheels has expanded the partnership to include these two teams, with 1:64 scale cars set to be available from major retailers worldwide in early December 2025 or early 2026. Fans will finally be able to purchase the Ferrari SF-25, though the exact price and release date are yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, Hot Wheels has shared an official presentation video.
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, stated that seeing the complete 2025 Hot Wheels Formula 1® collection come together, with all grid teams now represented, is fantastic. She emphasized the incredible attention to detail Hot Wheels provides, faithfully reproducing the liveries and designs, offering fans a unique and authentic way to experience the speed, precision, and excitement of Formula 1 at home. In addition to the race cars, Hot Wheels will continue to release new Formula 1-inspired track sets throughout 2026.
