
Baku is another street circuit but with very little in common with the low-speed streets and the narrow, winding streets of Monte Carlo. It would be a surprise if Mercedes struggled as hard as they did in Monaco, although heating up the tires could be a problem as it did in Monaco. The point-and-squirt nature of the track, with its many short 90-degree turns, could hamper Mercedes again.
And Ferrari? Again, Monaco probably won’t be Azerbaijan’s representative or even the rest of the season. They could be ahead of McLaren this time around, but Baku is also a bit of a peculiar track.
