In a recent editorial for Sky Sport F1, the well-known Italian commentator Carlo Vanzini shared his thoughts on the new Ferrari for 2024, focusing on the goals and potential of the car for the upcoming Formula 1 season.
Carlo Vanzini emphasizes that the primary goal for the Maranello team is to have a highly competitive car. The idea is to combine the best features of the previous year’s car, known for the effectiveness of the engine, speed, performance in slow corners, and traction, with the superiority in fast corners that characterized the Ferrari car which competed in the 2022 Formula 1 championship.
According to the well-known Sky reported Carlo Vanzini, the real competitive capability of the new Ferrari F1 single-seater will be evident from the early tests and initial races of the 2024 Formula 1 campaign. Cautious optimism about the performance of the new car emerges from the initial simulator tests, while the car will be officially unveiled in February 2024. However, Carlo Vanzini notes that specific details will remain confidential, reflecting a change in strategy by Ferrari’s team principal, Frédéric Vasseur, who has adopted a more cautious approach and is less inclined to make premature claims of success.
