Reports suggest that Lewis Hamilton might be on the brink of departing from Mercedes in 2025 to join Ferrari and become Charles Leclerc’s teammate.
Despite previous strong speculations about a potential move to Maranello, Hamilton has consistently expressed his loyalty to Mercedes. In 2023, he reaffirmed his commitment by signing a new two-year contract, continuing his association with the team since 2013.
However, Ferrari chairman John Elkann, known for his admiration for Hamilton, is reportedly in negotiations for a deal that could result in Hamilton joining Leclerc as his teammate starting from the 2025 season. Such a move would likely lead to Carlos Sainz’s departure from the team.
