Finally, Italy
The long-awaited return of Formula 1 to Italy is approaching. After heavy rainfall in Emilia Romagna canceled the possibility of racing at Imola, this season’s only World Championship round in Italy will take place at Monza in early September. Despite Red Bull’s dominance in the first half of the season, this event promises to attract many Italian fans to the stands of the Italian circuit.
Dedicated entirely to spectators will be the Fanzone. The area, set up between the back straight opposite the pit lane and the high-speed banking, will be freely accessible on Thursday, featuring F2 and F3 drivers. Starting from Friday, entry will be limited to ticket holders. The focus will then shift to the Formula 1 drivers and team principals, but not only them.
499P as Guest of Honor
A special parade will feature the legendary Ferrari 499P, the car that brought the Prancing Horse back to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans after 58 years. The car #51, driven to triumph by the crew of Giovinazzi-Pier Guidi-Calado, will be among the main attractions of the Fanzone.
Also present in this area will be some iconic Italian-made single-seaters from the past that have become legendary in the imaginations of motorsport enthusiasts: the Alfa Romeo 182 (1982), Minardi 189 (1989), BMS/Dallara-Cosworth 190 (1990), Lambo 291 (1991), Fondmetal GR02 (1992). An unmissable collection for all enthusiasts of this sport.
