An elegant, futuristic and very impressive Formula 1 circuit with world class race viewing opportunities. With sweeping curves, hairpin turns and long straights – elements that make an exciting F1 race. China planned the Grand Prix track in Shanghai as a showcase statement to demonstrate that the country had arrived as a player on the world stage over a decade ago.
After Charles Leclerc was cruelly robbed in Bahrain, Scuderia Ferrari will be desperate to respond.
2019 Chinese Grand Prix weather forecast (Weather Info Shanghai):
From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams adapt their strategy accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds. It is always well worth checking the weather before any grand prix as it can often throw a curve ball into the mix, especially given the fact that in China there’s always a chance of the Cinturato wet weather tyres appearing on track. And Shanghai could once again prove to be an unpredictable weekend. Conditions appear excellent for Friday’s free practice sessions ahead of the 2019 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix, but the temperature for race day is expected to be around 16-17 degrees, while according to the latest forecast, there is some chance of rain for Sunday, when the third round of the 2019 Formula One season will take place. For the qualifying session on Saturday there is a slight chance of rain, but the current forecast indicates that it should not affect the proceedings at the Shanghai International Circuit.
